Due to the 'short' summer season in Alaska, advanced reservations are highly recommended.

As a courtesy to you, alaska4realadventures will pick you up from your Anchorage hotel and drop you off after your ATV, 4X4, or local tour/adventure. Prior arrangements to join us must be made if you are staying at a hotel outside of the Anchorage area.

Please make alaska4realadventures aware of you choice of hotel with room # (if available at booking). This is important so we can configure adequate travel time in picking you up and returning you to your hotel, and to make sure that no vital tour/adventure time is lost.

To confirm and hold your reservation at the time of booking, a credit card will be needed. Payment will be due in full upon check in. You may pay with a credit card or cash. If reservation is cancelled within 72 hours of scheduled departure time, a 50% cancellation fee (of booking cost) will be in effect.

Prior to departure on ANY alaska4realadventures tours or adventures, patrons must sign a standard liability release form for all parties participating (including children). Any party that is under the age of 18 years of age must have a parent or legal guardian sign the release form and also must be a participant on chosen tour or adventure. Failure to acknowledge and/or sign the release form will automatically default you from ANY activity that alaska4realadventures has to offer, and tour or adventure for said party(ies) will be cancelled with no refund given.

ATV: After participants sign the release form, you will be properly fitted with a helmet, gloves and goggles. We will then proceed to the trailhead where you will be introduced to your ATV, with a hands on orientation. From there it's on to enjoy the backwoods of Alaska!

It's important to remember to follow your guide's directions and hand signals! Please be aware that there is a good chance of encountering wildlife while on the trail. Our guides will inform you of proper procedures if this occurrence should happen.

Handling of an ATV requires some physical activity. Our guides will advise you on how to use your body to comfortably maneuver the ATV while on the trail.  The maximum total weight limit for one of our ATV's is 300 pounds.  

Safety and orientation information, fuel, oil, local guide, helmet, gloves, goggles, non alcoholic beverages, snacks (4 hour), snack/meal (6 hour) and round trip transfers from Anchorage are all included in ATV pricing.

*Let it be noted for all participating ATV parties, that any negligent, careless, or intentional mis-use of the ATV that results in ANY damages to equipment or property will be your sole financial responsibility, and not that of alaska4realadventures.

4X4 Local Tours: After participants sign the release form, you will be given instructions on what to do should any wildlife be encountered if outside the vehicle while on the tour. Any questions you may have prior to departure will be answered. You will then embark on either your 3, 4, or 5 hour local 4X4 tour.

4X4 Off Road Adventure Tours: After participants sign the release form, you will be informed on what to expect while on the trail, including what to do should wildlife be encountered. Please listen to your guide at all times and follow all safety procedures.

 PER ALASKA STATE LAW, SEATBELTS MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES!

Your safety is our priority. Please be aware that if you or any parties participating in any of alaska4realadventures tours or adventures is in immediate danger (ie: washed out trail, weather conditions, wildlife, etc.) we reserve the right to either travel to another location, reschedule you if necessary, or issue a 40% refund. 

If for reasons beyond the control of alaska4realadventures, we are unable to proceed out to one of the tour/adventure starting points/trailhead, you will be issued a 100% refund.

Due to Alaska's various changing weather patterns, the following clothing is advised for when you are walking around at rest spots or viewing scenery. 

Light weight jacket

Extra socks (advised but not necessary)

Hiking boots 

Comfortable/functional clothing for trail activity
